A gravel ride can be whatever you want it to be: go for speed, go for distance, go for fun, go for an escape. No matter your goal, Warbird Carbon GRX 810 2x is a comfortable and efficient way to get there. The carbon frame with our Class 5™ Vibration Reduction System (VRS) tames harsh roads. Our gravel race geometry grants you control on ruinous roads. Thoughtful mounting points provide places for everything from extra bottles to a light bikepacking setup. Shimano’s GRX 810 drivetrain has proven itself as a dependable, high-performance gravel group. Put it all together and you’ve got one of the best gravel bikes out there.

Features

  • Class 5 VRS

The Class 5 Vibration Reduction System has specially shaped seatstays with a tall, thin, vertically oriented profile that promotes vertical compliance by allowing the seatstays to "flex" outwards on impacts. The horizontally oriented chainstays work to resist torque and maintain a laterally stiff rear end. The seatstays and chainstays lack bridges, furthering the full length of the stays to contribute to flexibility. And a rear thru-axle delivers precise tracking while allowing the seatstays to provide that incredible compliance

  • Interior Junction Control Molding Technology

We use internal molds at all the main front triangle junctions during layup and curing. This allows for precise control of wall thickness and inner wall smoothness in these areas. This process increases compaction and reduces voids and wrinkles in critical high stress zones. The end result is a top-quality carbon frame that delivers consistent high performance

  • Warbird Geometry

Warbird features the latest evolution of our already industry leading gravel racing geometry. Warbird places the rider in a position that can be maintained for hours on end over bumpy B-roads and loose surfaces, drastically reducing fatigue. A low bottom bracket and stable wheelbase help keep the tires planted and boost confidence. Long top tubes paired with short stems provide increased stability at high speed and on rough descents

  • Waxwing Deluxe Fork

This full-carbon fork utilizes a 12 x 100 mm thru axle for true tracking and flat mount brake for quick setup. Most importantly, the fork includes an incredible array of accessory features:

    • Three-Pack mounts accept either water bottle cages or Anything Cages for increased hydration or gear carrying capacity
    • Mid-blade mounts allow the attachment of our Down Under Low Rider Rack for front pannier use
    • Internal Dynamo Hub Cable Routing means clean cable routing for those upgrading to dynamo front hubs
    • Fender mounts mean more pleasant riding in rainy weather, allowing you to tack on more training miles

  • 700c x 42 mm Wheel/Tire Spec

For faster acceleration and overall speed

  • Dual Wheel Size Compatible

Warbird fits up to 700c x 45 mm OR 650b x 2.0" wheels/tires. We offer models with each spec so you can choose the wheel size that best meets your needs, or set up a second wheel set so your Warbird is optimized for the race course at hand

  • Integrated Toptube Bag Mount

Bolt on your Salsa EXP Series Top Tube Bag for secure connection and elimination of strap wear

  • Generous Water Bottle Capacity

Helps you stay hydrated during ultra-endurance training rides and races. 2-3 bottle mounts inside main triangle (56 cm and above receive 3), 1 accessory mount on underside of downtube, 2 bottle mounts possible on fork via Three-Pack mounts

  • Internal Sleeved Cable Routing

Internal tubes guide housing through the frame, simplifying setup and maintenance

  • Refined Drivetrain Compatibility

Designed to accept 1x, 2x, and current electronic offerings

  • Stealth Dropper Post Compatible

Accepts 27.2 mm dropper posts for more confident descending at high speeds on rough, unpredicatable gravel roads. Internal stealth routing when running 1x setups

  • Fender Mounts

Fenders allow for longer, more pleasant rides in wet weather

  • Rear Rack Friendly

Compatible with the Salsa Wanderlust Rack when using the optional Salsa Rack-Lock seat collar

Important Story!
Format: Hardcover
12 year old Nimra is thrilled when her parents suggest she transfer to public school, which means she'll finally be with her best friend, Jenna. When Jenna acts strangely about Nimra's hijab on their first day, Nimra is desperate to prove she can fit in. Even though her family doesn't approve of music, Nimra joins a boy band, hoping their popularity will help repair her friendship with Jenna. She doesn't intend to remain in the band after she wins Jenna back, but the boys enter them in a fundraising benefit. Nimra's web of lies grows until she finally has to face what she's done––and figure out who she is at home and at school. A lovely story about a girl torn between her religion and the trials of middle school, this book is a recommended read.

Sweet story
Format: Hardcover
This is an enjoyable, lightweight story, perfect for middle school students. The child I bought it for is from a different culture than that depicted, and for her it was a bridge-builder in terms of helping to find commonalities and differences. It was a fun experience--effortless learning, the best kind! For others, it may be useful to see themselves reflected in the young heroine, but I can't speak to whether they will find the mirror accurate. For my reader, the conflict felt real and relatable - who hasn't experienced feeling different and excluded? And she was captured beginning to end.

excellent middle-grade novel
Format: Hardcover
This story of a muslim girl in the US and her school friends and ordinary dramas is a great addition to school libraries or public libraries and also for girl readers 9-12 or so. It's wonderful that we are getting novels about people from other faiths that are aimed at mainstream readers. It is so important for kids to read books about people from other backgrounds as well as for those from those backgrounds to have books in which they see themselves reflected. Well done!

Vampire Fantasy
Format: Kindle
Following Val through this adventure of trying to find her place in the world while cultists are literally trying to get her, made me feel like I was on the edge of my seat. I also love the idea that vampires/werewolves(peak at Roving Darkness and the Druids Destiny) are just living everyday life like humans. This book made me wish I was living in this world because it felt so real. Its also very sapphic

enjoyable cozy urban fantasy
Format: Kindle
Getting kidnapped by her cult-leader grandfather and held chained for other a month is not a pleasant experience. But when Vedalia's (Vel) aunt comes and rescues her, things start to take a turn for the better. Especially when said aunt is a vampire, who is married to a witch, and they're giving her a new start at life. This story is very much a cozy urban fantasy. There is actions and threats (as her grandfather doesn't know when to give up), but not a lot of angst (not a bad thing at all in my opinion ^^). The focus of the story is very much on Vel as she adapts to life with her new found family, and makes new friends. There is romance in the story, and it's cute - they make an adorable couple. But there is a lot more going on as well. It is an enjoyable read that is well written and paced well, and I definitely appreciate the queer representation that is in the story. The main threat is wrapped up well, and I certainly would be interested in seeing more of the characters, and Vel growing more into what she has been given. Happily devoured and I look forward to reading more by her.
